PACR Emergency Jacket
The GripGrab PACR Emergency Jacket exists for riders who prefer carrying certainty without carrying excess. The jacket is intended for use when conditions change unexpectedly during a ride. It provides temporary protection against wind and rain during descents, sudden showers, or extended stops, before being packed away once conditions stabilise.
Built from a single 2.5-layer polyamide shell with a PU-based membrane, the jacket prioritises low weight and minimal bulk. A 10,000 mm waterproof rating and a PFC-free DWR finish are supported by fully taped seams and a YKK 2-way waterproof front zipper. A 10,000 g/m²/24h breathability rating supports moisture transfer.
The race fit delivers a close-fitting silhouette that limits excess material. Elasticated cuffs and a standard-height collar maintain a streamlined road-jacket profile. The 2-way front zipper enables access to jersey pockets underneath.
The jacket has no pockets or dedicated packing system. Instead, its 120 g weight (size Medium) allows it to be easily folded and stowed away in a jersey pocket.
Reflective elements on the shoulders and back increase visibility in low-light conditions.
Designed as an emergency layer, the jacket is not intended for heavy daily use. Prolonged storage in a folded state should be avoided to protect the material and taped seams.
